We take extra measures to ensure your information is secure with us. Here's an overview of what we do to protect your identity, plus a few tips you can follow to keep your information safe.

We encode your info.

You'll know SSL interactions are happening when you see the gold lock at the bottom of your browser window and you see "https:" in the address bar.

We mask your info.
Once your info is in our system, we filter it so most identifiable numbers are concealed. You'll see, for example, a credit card number listed as this: XXXX XXXX XXX 1234.

We secure and guard your info.
Our security measures help ensure that your data is secured and encrypted so others cannot access it while in transit. We limit access to our servers, and only employees who must see your info to provide products and service to you are entitled to access it. Their use of your information is limited by law, our employee code of business conduct and ethics, and written agreements where appropriate.

We test you.
We ask for your User ID and Password when you sign in to access your policy.

We test you some more.
We ask you for specific information when you call us so we can verify we're giving your information to you and not someone else.

Before you can retrieve a quote, we ask for your last name, ZIP code and quote number. If you don't remember your quote number, you can provide us with certain alternative information that other people would be unlikely to know.

We make sure only you know the answers to the questions we ask to identify you.
We ask secret questions to verify your identity if you forget your User ID or Password.

We limit access.
The only employees who are entitled to access your info are the ones we determine must use it to provide our products and services to you. Their use of your information is limited by law, our employee code of business conduct and ethics, and written agreements where appropriate.
