A Claims Negotiations Assistant’s main responsibility is to investigate, negotiate and settle claims in line with the company’s philosophy and procedures while at the same time keeping our promise to customers of fair and transparent claim handling and compensation within 24hrs. A dynamic personality is essential, as the tasks at hand demand strong negotiation and diplomatic skills, and a high understanding of how to treat others with patience and persistence. As a Claim Handling Assistant, you will be:

  • Guiding customers through the claim process, keeping them informed every step of the way
  • Preparing claim folders
  • Inputting data into claims systems and ensuring that all necessary documentation is included in the claim folder
  • Liaising with other insurance companies for liability and payments
  • Liaising with clients, their representatives and third parties
  • Participating in training and coaching sessions for Continuous Learning and Development

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in Law/Psychology or studies in a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
  • Computer literacy (MS Office:  Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently and to embrace changes involving technology
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and pleasant personality
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Active listener with critical thinking, sound judgment and attention to detail
  • Self-discipline and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to deal with difficult customers and respond to questions
