Casualty Care Assistant

A Casualty Care Assistant’s main responsibility is to attend the scene of serious accidents and visit patients who are claiming compensation under any company policy, to provide emotional and psychological support to the injured/ patient. At the same time, the Casualty Care Assistant is verifying the details that will be submitted with the claim to ensure that they are legitimate. As a Casualty Care Assistant, you will be:

  • By the customers’ side immediately after the accident during their transportation to the hospital and help them in the process until their full recovery
  • Visiting customers for emotional support
  • Identifying possible fraudulent accidents/ claims and bringing them to the attention of Management
  • Completing the motor accident medical report and submitting it to the Casualty Care Team Leader, the Managing Director and the Claims Manager
  • Negotiating timely and appropriate settlements with insureds and claimants within their authority levels
  • Travelling in other cities when required (company car provided). This may involve traveling on short notice or outside the normal office working hours for emergency cases
  • Participating in training and coaching sessions for Continuous Learning and Development

 

 Requirements:

  • University degree in Sociology or Psychology or studies in a related field
  • Relevant experience will be considered as an advantage
  • Computer literacy (MS Office:  Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and pleasant personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Active listening and critical thinking
  • Sound judgment and attention to detail
  • Self-discipline and ability to meet deadlines
  • Patience and ability to deal with difficult customers and respond to technical questions
  • Good judgment showing logical decision making, and a hands-on approach
